Overview:

A free one-day workshop for arts, cultural and community groups keen to improve their financial stability.

This day is organised and provided by Create Berwick in partnership with the National Arts Fundraising School.

About the Workshop:

This day is the perfect way to learn the skills you need to secure cash for you cause- from writing powerful proposals to setting up a credible crowdfunder and from asking high net worth individuals for support to clinching that sponsorship deal with a company. Whether you need £500 for your next small project or £5M to refurb your whole building this is a fabulous opportunity.

Workshop Leaders:

The programme will be led by two members of the team who run the National Arts Fundraising School – Bernard Ross and Sarah Shooter. 

Bernard Ross is Director of the School. He has acted as a fundraising consultant to a wide range of bodies in the arts and cultural world, including Paisley Museum, BFI and Southbank Centre.

Sarah Shooter is Head of Development at Theatre Royal Wakefield. Leading a small team she works across the full spectrum: individual giving, membership, corporates, and trusts and foundations.
