About Berwick Open Studios

Berwick Open Studios is an exciting new cultural event in Berwick’s calendar of festivals. A pilot event delivered by Create Berwick with funding from Northumberland County Council and the North-East Mayoral Strategic Authority.

Berwick Open Studios offers an exciting opportunity for visitors to the town, as well as residents, to visit artists’ studios and not only experience their creative processes, but also buy wonderful pieces direct from makers themselves.

You will be able to follow a trail map of creative venues throughout Berwick, Tweedmouth & Spittal, as well as individual artists’ studios; there will also be galleries and exhibitions, pop-up spaces, cultural hubs and creative community groups to explore and be inspired by.

When is Berwick Open Studios?

Saturday 26 – Sunday 27 September and Saturday 3 – Sunday 4 October 2026.

Who is taking part?

An A-Z of the artist, studios and galleries taking part. More information will be added towards the end of the summer, along with a printed map and guide to Berwick Open Studios.
