Renovated by architects in 2019, The Straw Yard (next to Berwick Barracks) comprises two buildings and an enclosed, gated outside yard space.
The 29sqm office space has:

- a phone line
- a small kitchen
- two toilets
- storage heating.
The 55sqm workshop has:
- electricity
- power sockets
- specialist fitted rack lighting
- please note there is no running water or heating.
Outside there is hard standing and also a grassed area.
Annual rent: £6,500, excluding bills.

Creative practitioners can apply for up to £1,000 per year towards studio rent from the Creative Action Fund which will be launched in 2024.
In the meantime, we’re offering three awards of up to £1,000 towards these studio costs now.
